She has extensive experience acting for financial services organisations including clearing banks, title insurers and lenders, advising on a range of complex and high value banking litigation matters.
Vanessa has been on secondment to the legal department of a major high street bank and uses this experience to help drive commercial outcomes for clients.
Vanessa has experience of managing remediation projects for major financial institutions. Her work also involves disputes arising out of personal and corporate lending, professional negligence claims arising out of commercial and residential property transactions, breach and enforcement of contracts, financial crime and fraud, complex recovery issues, Consumer Credit Act claims and mis-selling of financial investments.
She regularly advises clients on challenges to their terms and conditions and matters that carry sensitive, reputational and portfolio risk.
