He provides commercially strategic advice to a range of clients across the private and public sectors, with the core to much of his work being a focus on technology projects. He specialises in data protection, privacy and information law matters, having advised in this area throughout his career. Gareth acts as external Data Protection Officer for a number of clients.
Gareth advises on business process and IT outsourcing projects, digital transformation projects, software development and sales, cloud solutions, collaborative R&D projects and all aspects of public procurement processes and commercial contracts. His practice also extends to media and entertainment clients. Gareth is regularly instructed to advise on cybersecurity and cyber breach issues.
Gareth is a member of the Society for Computers and Law and the Procurement Lawyers Association.
